The two parties announced an “amicable separation.”
“I think our style of cooking is so different now that it attracts a wider audience,” Kimball said.
The complicated public breakup involves several public broadcasting organizations.
“We are not doing a cooking show per se,” host Christopher Kimball said.
“I’ve always wanted to teach people how to cook, not just to follow recipes,” Kimball said.
“Viewers for the screen tests loved it when we were on together.”
“I’m doing 12 station events this year, and hope to do that many next year — maybe even a few more.”
Kimball will remain as host for the 2016 seasons of ATK and Cook’s Country.
