A defining characteristic of public media is behind the theme answers in this month’s puzzle.
The national program will help 30 students make science videos about topics of their choice.

The VPM + ICA Community Media Center is a free and public recording studio and workspace that aims to make creating podcasts more accessible.
With its new Minutes project, the station is making city council meetings more accessible while helping its reporters find stories.
Young, currently EP for “Morning Edition,” will oversee the initiative that has created regional newsrooms across the U.S.
