The June through August 2024 period was, at best, sluggish for station fundraising across several key performance indicators compared to the same period in 2023.
In an FCC proceeding, the network argued that FM radio services operated by low-power TV stations are a “grossly inefficient use of spectrum.”
The broadcaster also addressed problems with open meetings and grant reporting highlighted in a CPB audit.
Hubbs has led several WSRE productions as an EP and also created local education programs.
The station said it is adopting changes recommended by a law firm that reviewed its management practices.

With cash prizes of $75,000 as completion funds, producers expect to release their shows for broadcast later this year.
The Atlanta station named a chief content officer and a VP of development.
