An eight-episode prequel is setting the stage for the PBS Kids show's July premiere.

Talia Schlanger will depart to “pursue new creative endeavors,” according to producing station WXPN.

Hoban was previously the station's associate GM of programming.

"We need to stop worrying about things we can't control," says the retired GM of WUWM in Milwaukee. "Let's continue to build from our strengths."

The texting service reaches busy parents and caregivers with child-care information and resources.

“What we want to do is better serve our members and to be able to grow our membership,” said Executive Director Terry Gildea.
