ValleyPBS bids farewell to CEO after 7 months

The board of ValleyPBS in Fresno, Calif., voted June 14 to end the contract of CEO Jenny Toste.

Toste had led the station since December. She had previously worked as a social media specialist for California State University, Fresno and founded a digital video production company.

“On behalf of the ValleyPBS Board of Directors, we would like to thank Jenny Toste for her passion for the station over the past seven months,” said ValleyPBS Board Chair Karen Musson in a release. “The amazing staff of the station will continue to execute the operations of the station in our service to the Valley.”

The station declined to comment on why Toste was let go.
