A $100,000 grant from Press Forward will help Radio Catskill in New York hire at least one additional reporter.
Lawmakers also voted for a $2 million increase in Ready To Learn funds and level support for interconnection.
Talia Schlanger will depart to “pursue new creative endeavors,” according to producing station WXPN.
Hoban was previously the station’s associate GM of programming.

The texting service reaches busy parents and caregivers with child-care information and resources.
