Andrew Eversden

Andrew Eversden is an aspiring journalist from a suburb of Phoenix, pursuing a journalism and political science double major. He came to Washington, D.C., interested in political reporting and has been able to pursue his interests professionally. Before coming to Current, Andrew interned for The Durango Herald, a family-owned newspaper in southwest Colorado, covering the region’s congressional delegation. He also covered health-care policy in Arizona for a small Phoenix-based news organization. Andrew is excited to spend his summer working for Current and looks forward to learning much more about public media.
