Mark Prasuhn joins WPBS-TV in Watertown, N.Y., as president and GM June 3.

Prasuhn has three decades of experience in broadcasting, including with Gusto TV, Jumpwire Media, Zoomer Media, Vision TV, Mind’s Eye Pictures, the Saskatchewan Film and Video Development Corp. and TV Ontario. He is currently president of the CMU College of Makeup Art and Design in Toronto.

At WPBS, Prasuhn succeeds Lynn Brown, who is retiring.

“The WPBS Board of Trustees is deeply grateful to President and General Manager, Lynn Brown, for her many years of superb leadership at the station,” WPBS said in a press release. “Though her upcoming retirement saddens us, we are optimistic about the station’s future, as we build upon the sound foundation she has built over the years and prepares a smooth transition to Mr. Prasuhn’s leadership. We thank Lynn for her commitment to WPBS, our American and Canadian viewers, and to the community.”
