Boigon and Vecchione

Our latest episode of Made Possible By… brings together Molly Boigon, a production assistant for WGBH’s Boston Public Radio, and Judith Vecchione. An executive producer at WGBH, Vecchione has had a hand in many public TV shows and documentaries, including FrontlineEyes on the Prize and Vietnam: A Television History.

In conversation with Boigon, Vecchione says public media is “one of the last holdouts in an increasing commercialized world.”

“Value is not only in what you can sell people on,” she says. “Value is in truth and understanding and multiple perspectives and things that make us better members of society.”
