WGBH has launched a set of interactive educational resources funded by a $10 million grant from NASA.

The digital lessons, aimed at students from kindergarten through high school, focus on Earth-science subjects such as weather, climate, land and water, according to the announcement Thursday. Content includes satellite images and data visualizations from NASA as well as videos from the science series Nova and the kids’ show Peep & the Big Wide World.

Teachers have access to related materials such as background essays, teaching tips and handouts through PBS LearningMedia online. The content is aligned to Next Generation Science Standards.

WGBH developed the content with input from 50 teacher advisers.

The content is the first in the series “Bringing the Universe to America’s Classrooms.” The five-year NASA grant was announced in May 2016.
