The Arkansas PBS Commission named Sajni Kumpuris as the public television network’s interim director during a special meeting Tuesday. 

Shayna Schlosberg was named VP of community connections for Oregon Public Broadcasting.

“She brings a wealth of experience in leading teams,” says Board Chair Neil Thorne.

The job suspensions are linked to the Department of Education’s decision to terminate 2020–25 Ready To Learn grants.

Isabel Lara, NPR chief communications officer since 2021, left the network in March.

Episodes of the 56th season of “Sesame Street” will be released simultaneously on Netflix, PBS stations and PBS Kids digital platforms.
