Between the Covers highlights authors of all genres. Host Ann Bocock gives in-depth looks at works by authors of all genres. The online Summer Series Episode focused on local authors such as Diana Abu Jaber who discussed her new book, “Fencing with the King” and answered fun lightning round questions. In episode two, author Robert Watson talks about his new book, “Escape!” a definitive account of the Confederacy’s infamous Libby Prison, site of the Civil War’s largest prison break. Episode three features author Alexandra Alessandri discussing her bilingual children’s book, “Isabel and Her Colores Go To School,” a universal story about feeling new and making new friends. Episode four of this series highlights author Al Pessin talks about his third book in the Task Force Epsilon series, “Shockwave,” where an American operative infiltrates a dangerous terrorist cell targeting the Israeli and the Palestinian territories. In episode five, author Micki Browning talks about her second book in the Joe Wyatt series, Mercy Creek. In an idyllic Colorado town, a young girl goes missing – and the trail leads into the heart and mind of a remorseless killer.
