Grants to seven stations and NPR aim to “fill gaps” in public media’s statehouse reporting.
The hourlong program discusses sex, relationships, health and other themes that get into “taboo territory.”
Scannell has led the organization since 2019.

“This is a bitter pill,” said Eric Marrapodi, VP of news programming. “We really wanted this to work. And this was a big, big swing to try to do this.”
Lovato-Winston, who currently works in fundraising for KPR, steps up to director next month.
WVPB’s governing board announced Carl “Butch” Antolini’s departure during an emergency meeting Monday.
