Cary Boyce has resigned as president and GM of Spokane Public Radio in Washington, the station announced Wednesday.
Boyce has led the station since 2012.
“It’s been an honor and privilege to serve in public media for so many years and to be part of such great advances,” Boyce said in a letter from board chair Steve Faust posted on the station’s website. “I wish the station every success in this new era of public radio service.”
Prior to SPR, Boyce was station operations director at WFIU Public Radio in Bloomington, Ind.
Mike Grabicki is serving as interim GM. Boyce will serve as a consultant while the station’s board searches for a permanent leader.
