Robert Keenan was promoted to GM of KIXE PBS in Redding, Calif.
Keenan succeeds Dave Cox, a retired law enforcement professional and former KIXE board member who was appointed GM of the station in 2019.
Keenan joined KIXE in 1990 as a traffic manager. He has also been on-air fundraising manager and most recently worked as director of programming.
Before joining KIXE, he was master control operator for an NBC affiliate in Medford, Ore.
“I am thrilled to continue my journey with the incredible team at KIXE PBS and to contribute to the station’s legacy of serving our community,” Keenan said in a news release. “I look forward to working collaboratively with the talented individuals here to continue delivering exceptional programming that informs, inspires, and entertains our audience.”
