Isabel Reinert is the new GM and executive director of dual licensee WPSU in State College, Pa.
Reinert has held the roles on an interim basis since August 2017. She succeeds Kate Domico, who rose to assistant dean for administration and IT at the College of Arts and Architecture at licensee Penn State University.
During Reinert’s interim tenure, WPSU received two major philanthropic gifts: the largest individual donation in the station’s history, for $1 million, and its largest planned-gift commitment, for more than $1.1 million.
Reinert joined WPSU in 2011 as finance manager. She was promoted to director of finance and business operations in 2015.
Earlier in her career, Reinert was program coordinator at Iowa State University’s Center for Sustainable Rural Livelihoods, which helped Ugandan farmers undertake more sustainable agricultural methods.
