Two events at Arizona PBS’s Eight on May 23 will launch promotions tied to the three-part, six-hour documentary series Latino Americans, coming to PBS this fall.

A screening especially for teens starts at 11:30 a.m., and another evening presentation will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., both at the historic A.E. England Building in downtown Phoenix. Adriana Bosch, series producer for Latino Americans, and others from the documentary will participate in discussions.

The City of Phoenix Latino Institute is partnering on the event.

Latino Americans traces the history, growth and experiences of Latinos in the United States from the 16th century to the present day. It’s a co-production of WETA in Arlington, Va.; Miami-based Bosch and Co.; Latino Public Broadcasting; and the Independent Television Service.
