Live at Howard’s

WBGU’s Joe Goodman wanted to create a stronger link between the station and its local community. When he use to watch PBS as a kid, the late night programming was his favorite, in particular some underground grungy music shows that would come on. So, he took that great memory and tried to bring it to our community. We have a great dive bar where bands from around the area play. They don’t get enough publicity or support and they deserve to be heard they are very talented. So we partnered with the venue to create a new music show that could bring the talent our area has to the masses at a state wide level. We did a pilot in December 2016 and have been shooting episodes for the past few months while post is ongoing. We look to air the first season around the first of September.
