Jody Hamblett steps down as WUOT GM

Jody Hamblett has resigned as GM of WUOT in Knoxville, Tenn.
“She has left the position to be closer to family in South Carolina,” according to a spokesperson for the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, the station’s licensee. Another spokesperson for the university said her official resignation date is June 30.
Greg Hill, director of programming and operations, confirmed that he is serving as interim director during the transition.
The university hired Hamblett for the role in 2023.
She was previously president and CEO of the Public Radio Program Directors Association.
