“I’m incredibly honored to step into the role of executive director at Radio Milwaukee, an organization that has always stood for innovation, inclusion, and community,” Lee said in an April 7 press release. “This moment is not just about my promotion but about the collective growth of a team that reflects the vibrant diversity of our city.”

Lee was previously senior director of programming at the station. He helped create and launch HYFIN, the station’s digital-first media platform featuring Urban Alternative programming.

“With over 15 years at the organization, including leadership roles, Lee brings a deep understanding of the station’s mission and vision, ensuring it remains a cultural force in Milwaukee and beyond,” according to the release.

Correction: An earlier version of this story incorrectly described Radio Milwaukee’s music format as Urban Alternative. The organization broadcasts Triple A music on its main signal. HYFIN is an Urban Alternative service that’s distributed as a digital stream and HD Radio channel
