She started in the role last year and left to be major gifts, stewardship and events manager at From the Top, the nonprofit that produces the radio program of the same name distributed by NPR.

“I left KAZU for an opportunity I couldn’t pass up at From the Top,” she told Current in an email. “I’ve been a long time friend of the show, having attended one of the first public tapings 25 years ago in Boston. It’s exciting to have joined just as the organization is celebrating its 25th anniversary.”

“I’m thrilled that I’m still in public media, where I’ve spent virtually my entire professional career,” she added.

Doug McKnight, who has previously led KAZU, is serving as interim GM.
