She succeeds Greg Giczi, who is retiring from the station after leading it since 2013.

Kelley has served as the station’s director of development since 2023. She helped raise more than $1 million for WNIT’s 50th anniversary last year, according to a station Facebook post announcing the leadership change.

Kelley first joined the station in 2015 as philanthropic gifts officer. She left in 2017 to become major gifts officer for Brooke USA and was executive director of development for Ivy Tech Community College South Bend-Elkhart.

On LinkedIn, Giczi reflected on his 60-year career in television, which included a stint as GM of Arizona PBS from 2003–2008. “I’m nervous about retiring because I know I am going to miss my work relationships, business friendships, the fast pace, overcoming challenges and looking forward to the next big thing,” he wrote. “Happy trails, everyone.”
