Justin Harvey of The Programming Service was named co-president, a leadership role he will share with BaBette Davidson.
The promotion elevates Harvey from SVP of programming, while Davidson retains her role as CEO. The Tampa, Fla.–based organization manages program scheduling for 50 public TV clients.
“Welcoming Justin into this new leadership role marks an exciting chapter for TPS,” Davidson said in a news release. “I look forward to closely collaborating on initiatives that will maintain the trust of our station partners while nurturing our culture of teamwork and innovation. Together, we will guide TPS through its next phase of growth.”
Harvey joined TPS in 2018 as VP of programming and was promoted to SVP in 2020. Before that, he worked for Nashville PBS for 15 years, first as a program manager and later as director of content.
“I am honored to step into the Co-President and Chief Operating Officer role alongside BaBette,” Harvey said in the news release. “Contributing to the great work TPS has accomplished with our stations has been a privilege, and I eagerly anticipate collaborating with BaBette to strategize on our next phase of innovation.”
