Laura Archbold, a public relations and marketing professional, was named station manager of KSMQ in Austin, Minn.
Archbold takes over for Robert Hartman, chief engineer and underwriting account manager, who has served as interim station manager since last year.
Archbold most recently worked as founder and principal for Encore Public Relations. She also worked in marketing for the Mayo Clinic and has experience working for a commercial television station in Mankato, Minn.
“Laura has consistently demonstrated her ability to deliver powerful stories that captivate and connect communities,” stated KSMQ Board President Sylwia Bujak-Oliver in a news release. “Her extensive experience and dedication to impactful storytelling make her a perfect fit for KSMQ.”
