The Pacifica Foundation named Stephanie D. Wells its new executive director this week.
Wells brings over 35 years of executive experience in the nonprofit, for-profit and entertainment industries, according to a Pacifica release. She previously worked as director of development for the Michelson Found Animals Foundation.
Wells was also executive director of Friends of the EXPO Center in Los Angeles and principal gifts officer at the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Before joining the nonprofit sector, Wells worked as a producer and writer for cable and network television.
“I am excited to be a part of the dynamic Pacifica Network and am eager to continue building on the success of our stations and extensive archive library, always with the primary goal of meeting the needs of our listeners and our communities,” Wells said.
