Findings from a CPB analysis of public broadcasting revenues for fiscal year 2013 show earnings in public radio continuing to gain on public TV’s.

*Correction: Due to data entry errors, earlier versions of two charts incorrectly reported 2013 revenues for public TV and radio:

  • The top three sources of revenue for public TV in 2013 included a total of $411.6 million from membership.
  • Among the government funds subsidizing public radio that year, CPB provided $105.4 million to public radio.
