Mina Allen is a reporting intern for Current and a senior double-majoring in journalism and legal studies at American University. Previously she has interned for Voice of America Press Freedom and The Durango Herald as a Capitol Hill Reporting Intern. She also wrote as a news staff writer at American University’s student paper The Eagle for three years covering administrative and local news, campus events and features. She is currently a co-president of American University’s new chapter of the Asian American Journalism Association. In her free time, Mina loves to cook and go to concerts.
