Reep has been interim GM since Gary Stokes announced plans to retire last year. Reep starts the new role immediately.

“After an extensive search and thoughtful deliberation, the Board is confident that Skyler is the right leader for KSPS PBS at this moment in our history,” said Kristine Meyer, chair of the Friends of KSPS board of directors, in a news release. “He has already demonstrated steady, principled leadership during a time of challenge. He understands our community, our culture, and the responsibility we carry as a trusted local public media institution. Just as importantly, he brings strategic clarity and a national perspective that will position KSPS PBS for long-term resilience.”

Reep joined the station in 2017 as membership director and was promoted to director of development in 2023. He previously worked in the hospitality industry and was marketing director for Stay Alfred and revenue manager for FairBridge Hotels.

“Public media exists to connect, enrich, and inspire the communities we serve,” Reep said. “At a time when trusted information, early childhood education, and civil dialogue matter more than ever, KSPS PBS remains essential. We are rooted in service to the Inland Northwest and Western Canada, and we are committed to evolving thoughtfully, expanding access, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring that everyone in our region sees themselves reflected in the stories we share.”
