Lauren Biddle was named executive director of the Public Media Business Association.
Biddle most recently worked as executive director of the Paris-Bourbon County Chamber of Commerce in Kentucky. She previously directed activities for Bourbon Heights, Inc., a rehabilitation center in Paris, Ky.; worked as an outreach coordinator at the Paris-Bourbon County Library; and reported for WBKO, an ABC affiliate in Bowling Green, Ky.
“Lauren is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in marketing, community development, and project management,” PMBA Board Chair Megan Davey said in a news release. “Lauren has a proven track record of excellence in branding, event coordination, and organizational leadership.”
Biddle succeeds Sara Wood, who has led PMBA since 2018. Wood is also executive director of Management Solutions Plus, executive director of the American College of HealthCare Administrators and deputy executive director of Association of Water Technologies, all based in Rockville, Md.
“Sara has been an integral member of the PMBA team and we would not be where we are today without her careful consideration and guidance,” said Davey. “We wish Sara the best as she continues in her career.”
The PMBA board completed its search with Associations International, an association management company based in Lexington, Ky.
