Glenn Kleiman will step down as executive director of 88Nine Radio Milwaukee in the spring of 2020, the station announced Monday.
Kleiman has led Radio Milwaukee since April 2016. He had previously been a consultant to the station. Before joining the station, Kleiman served as CEO of Fullhouse, a digital marketing agency that he founded, for 23 years.
“I love this job, our team and our mission,” Kleiman said in a press release. “I’m proud of the work we do and I’ll miss leading our efforts. But it’s time for me to slow down a bit. I’m not retiring, just turning it down a notch. I do hope to stay involved with Radio Milwaukee in some capacity.”
“As a leader and visionary, Glenn has strengthened the organization and expanded our reach,” said Juli Kaufmann, president of the station’s board. “We are grateful for the leadership Glenn has provided at an important time for our organization and anticipate a seamless transition as we continue to increase our mission impact.”
The board of directors has started a search for Kleiman’s replacement.
