  • ‘Sesame’ characters hit the road for 50th-birthday bash with stations

    Sesame Street will visit 10 stations this summer in a national road trip celebrating the groundbreaking show’s 50th anniversary on public television. Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit that produces Sesame Street through a partnership with HBO and PBS, has been working with PBS and member stations to organize the road trip and other elements of the yearlong celebration.
