Stephanie Patterson was hired as chief customer officer for the Contributor Development Partnership, a fundraising organization affiliated with GBH in Boston. Patterson “The experience of our partner stations has always been at the heart of every CDP interaction and Stephanie’s rich background in public media along with her creative, relationship-centric approach will help us strengthen those partnerships even more,” said CDP President Michal Heiplik in a news release.

Morning Edition and Up First co-host Noel King will leave NPR to be co-host and editorial director of Today, Explained, Vox’s daily news podcast, the media companies announced Tuesday. Her final broadcast with NPR will be Dec. 10. “As a restless person I never thought I'd spend six years anywhere,” King said in a note to NPR staff.
