Senate committee reports favorably on two CPB board nominees

The Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation voted to report favorably on two CPB board nominees Thursday. President Joe Biden nominated Felix Sanchez last year to fill a vacancy on the nine-member board. Adam White is one of two nominees announced last month as three board members completed their terms. Sanchez Ranking Member Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) moved to favorably report a list of nominees, which also included appointments to other posts such as the Amtrak Board of Directors.

Lauren Biddle was named executive director of the Public Media Business Association. Biddle Biddle most recently worked as executive director of the Paris-Bourbon County Chamber of Commerce in Kentucky.
