Current is launching a digital subscription program. By June 15, 2017, readers who want unlimited access to our online content will be able to purchase a subscription through our paywall partner, Wallit. If you are a new subscriber and would like to also receive a print copy of Current in the mail, let us know and we’ll add you to the print subscribers list.

Individual subscriber options

  • Individual: 1 year of Current (14 issues in 2017) delivered to your home or place of business for $89.  We are offering our individual subscribers digital access at no additional charge. Please make sure we have your best email address so that we can make sure you never hit a paywall.
  • Reduced Rate: 1 year of Current for $49. This rate is a special offer for members of NFCB, INN, AIR, and retirees on a fixed income who are not actively employed. It does not apply to working people who qualify for senior discounts or AARP membership. Digital access is included.
  • Starting in June 2017, the best way to purchase or renew a subscription is through Wallit, our paywall and payment processor. However, we still gladly accept checks in the mail if you prefer.

Institutional subscriptions

Current offers group subscription discounts to public radio and TV stations and advertisers that receive multiple subscriptions. A flat 25% discount will kick in when an institution purchases FIVE or more subscriptions ($66.75 per person). Digital accesses to Current are for individuals and logins are not to be shared.

Universal Subscriptions

Stations and national organizations may want to consider obtaining a Universal subscription which would grant all of their employees unlimited access online to Current. The cost of this site-wide license depends on the number of employees on your payroll. Universal subscribers may receive as many copies of Current in print as they want (up to 50).

Board members are not included in the Universal Subscription. Stations may purchase print + digital subscriptions for their board members at the individual rate ($89). Or extend digital only access for their entire board of directors for $500 per year. Current is no longer mailing print copies to individual board members at a reduced rate.

Stations may pay for their group, universal or board subscriptions by credit card here, or through the mail. Please note that digital access will not be granted until payment is received.
