The Jersey Bee follows a model adapted from health care, education, and social work to deliver information that improves public health outcomes in its community.

A proposal to be forwarded to stations allocates $7.6 million of PBS’ own funds for strategic priorities.
The buyouts aim to cut expenses by about 10% in the first phase of the station’s budget reduction plan.
The new PBS Kids series is a literacy show “about different ways to communicate … and understanding peoples’ points of view,” says creator Tim McKeon.
The staff announced their intent to unionize earlier this month.
Perez had been serving as the station’s interim CEO.
Shawn Castellanos was named EVP and chief revenue officer for WETA.
Last year, a subcommittee had recommended zeroing out public media funding.
The music station purchased San Francisco’s KREV for $3.75 million in an October bankruptcy auction.
