  1. When I first got to WQED In 1997 and started to work on what would come Doo Wop 50, Jay was great. Carolyn Wean had me hook up with Jay. He was always helpful (as he knew I came from WXEL In South Florida). He gave me some great tips on how to leverage production partnerships and bring business and public broadcasting people together, I always wished we could have worked together, Here’s to you my old friend – I’ll miss you.
