Wyoming Public Radio will begin broadcasting Triple A music 24/7 on three stations Wednesday.

The station currently airs Triple A 9 a.m.–noon weekdays on its 28 news/music FM signals. The all-day music service will air on stations in Laramie, Worland and Riverton; the latter is currently one of WPR’s two full-time jazz stations. The service will also be available on 19 of the network’s HD Radio subchannels and via streaming at wyomingsounds.org.

“The service is dedicated to helping listeners discover new music, with a significant portion of the playlists reserved for up-and-coming artists,” Christina Kuzmych, WPR’s g.m., said in a press release.

The music service will focus on singer-songwriters and local and regional musicians. It will also include blues, soul, reggae and world music.

Wyoming Public Radio also has five stations that air classical. The network received funding from the Guthrie Foundation for the new service.
