PRX announced Monday that it is expanding its reach into children’s podcasts through a new partnership with podcast networks Gen-Z Media and Night Vale Presents.

As part of the agreement, PRX will handle some marketing for the networks, sell ads for them and provide them with technology for their current and future podcasts, according to a release.

The deal marks PRX’s first time working with children’s podcasts. Gen-Z Media debuted last year with children’s podcasts including The Unexplainable Disappearance of Mars Patel and Christmas is Coming. Night Vale Presents launched in 2015 with the fictional podcast Welcome to Night Vale. Its portfolio also includes fiction podcasts such as Alice Isn’t Dead and Within the Wires.

“It seemed natural to reach out to PRX to explore collaboration,” said Christy Gressman, partner at Night Vale Presents, in the release. “With this partnership, we get access to an incredible, smart and nimble sales team and to PRX’s proprietary ad and distribution technology.”

Both networks will introduce new podcasts this year, according to the release. Gen-Z will launch a quiz show in March called Pants on Fire and five other shows throughout the year. Night Vale is planning to double its podcast portfolio and will debut the podcast Pounded in the Butt by My Own Podcast with Chuck Tingle March 14.

Correction: A previous version of this article referred to PRX as the Public Radio Exchange. The company’s legal name is PRX.
