Rebekah Entralgo and Susan Stamberg

In 1971, Susan Stamberg became the first woman to anchor a nightly news broadcast in the U.S. as host of NPR’s All Things Considered. Now a special correspondent, she’s been at the network ever since.

On this episode of Made Possible By…, Stamberg talks with Rebekah Entralgo, formerly  a news assistant at NPR and now a reporter for ThinkProgress. The NPR “Founding Mother” discusses how she came to work at NPR and shares some career advice: “Don’t take no for an answer … and hang on to that enthusiasm and dedication, and even more important, curiosity.”
